Job Description - Maintenance Technician

What does a day in the life of a Hotel Maintenance Team Member look like?

No two days are exactly the same, and that’s what keeps the job interesting.

One day you may be touching up paint in guest rooms, replacing caulking, handling preventative maintenance tasks, or troubleshooting a PTAC unit. The next, you could be helping keep the pool area clean and operating properly, assisting housekeeping with heavy lifting, responding to guest requests, or helping keep the property looking its best inside and out.

And honestly, sometimes it’s a dirty job. This role also includes helping make sure the grounds are maintained, common areas stay clean and presentable, and the property continues to meet the standards our guests expect. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and understands that every detail matters in hospitality.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with their hands, is dependable, and is willing to jump in wherever needed to support the team.

Weekend availability is required, as hotels operate 24/7 and weekends are some of our busiest times.

Ideal candidates will have experience with:

• Basic maintenance and repairs
• Painting and caulking
• Preventative maintenance tasks
• PTAC/troubleshooting experience preferred
• Pool upkeep and cleanliness
• Grounds and common area upkeep
• General hotel upkeep and guest service
