**This position is Temporary to start - will re-evaluate after 90 days** The maintenance technician for a recovery house is responsible for ensuring that the facility is safe, functional, and well-maintained. The role is critical in creating a comfortable, clean, and safe environment for individuals undergoing recovery, often in residential or outpatient settings. The work is typically performed, in a warehouse/shop environment and around the interior and exterior of the facility, where the noise level is moderate to loud and environmental conditions may include fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outdoor weather conditions, work in high precarious places.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with support and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds with support. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk. The employee frequently is required to stand; reach with hands and arms and climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to stand, talk, or hear, and use hands to ginger, handle and feel. Ability to work in adverse conditions safely. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and peripheral vision.
