Maintenance Technician

Didion Orf Recycling is a leading provider of recycling and scrap metal management services. We specialize in the collection, processing, and selling of metals and electronics, contributing to a sustainable future. We’re seeking to hire an experienced Maintenance Technician. 

What You’ll Do

• Inspect, maintain, and repair heavy equipment and machinery.


• Work on trucks, trailers, cranes, conveyors, balers, shears, loaders, excavators, forklifts, and more.


• Perform preventive maintenance to keep equipment running.


• Troubleshoot breakdowns and fix problems quickly and effectively.


• Handle electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs.


• Weld and fabricate when needed.


• Work independently and as a team.


• Follow all safety standards on the job.

What We’re Looking For

• Hands-on experience with heavy equipment or industrial maintenance.


• Strong troubleshooting skills—you can find the problem and fix it.


• Basic electrical knowledge (motor controls, circuits, PLCs is a plus).


• Experience with hydraulics and welding preferred.


• Able to work fast and safely, stay organized, and adapt when priorities change.

What You Need

• Associate’s degree or certification in industrial maintenance, heavy equipment repair, or related field equivalent experience.
