Maintenance Technician

Description of the role:

The Maintenance Technician at Hampton Inn & Suites in Alton, IL is responsible for maintaining the overall functionality and appearance of the hotel facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry work, electrical repairs, plumbing, and HVAC maintenance.


• Inspect hotel rooms, public areas, and equipment for necessary repairs.


• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and ensure all issues are addressed in a timely manner.


• Keep maintenance logs and report any major issues to the management.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in general maintenance work.


• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.


• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.


• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
