Maintenance Technician

As a maintenance technician, the following skills and knowledge are favored:

• Mechanical Knowledge:
  
  
  
  • Conveyors, drives, gearboxes/motors, rollers/bearings, taper locks, and drive chains/belts are all relevant systems to our daily operations.
  
  
  
  


• Basic Electrical Knowledge:
  
  
  
  • Contactors, relays, overloads, electrical control circuits, and line voltage are relevant daily. PLC and any other knowledge are Pluses.
  
  
  
  


• Basic Pneumatic Knowledge:
  
  
  
  • Solenoid valves, air cylinders, check/flow controls, and quick exhausts are desirable.
  
  
  
  


• Basic/limited Plumbing Knowledge:
  
  
  
  • PVC bonding/piping, pumps, float switches, solenoid valves, and steam are desired but are not always necessary.
  
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.


• Must be willing to learn new skills and trades pertaining to maintenance.


• Must own and bring your own hand tools.
  
  
  
  • i.e., Pump pliers, screwdrivers, SAE and Metric wrenches, SAE and Metric hex-keys, wire strippers, linesman pliers, diagonal cutters
  
  
  
  


• Dependable


• Must have a current driver's license.


• Must have a reliable mode of transportation.

Schedule:

• Initial scheduled positions may vary for new hires as positions are being filled.


• Hours may vary slightly, with plenty of overtime opportunities.


• Occasional off days may be required for certain PMs or machinery installs.

Experience:

• Maintenance or trade experience is preferred but not necessarily required.

Job-Type: Full-Time

• Starting pay can vary (more or less) due to knowledge and experience.
