Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team for 2nd & 3rd shift. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and industrial maintenance and demonstrate proficiency in various technical skills. This role is essential for ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning optimally, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing repairs, conducting routine maintenance, and overseeing projects as needed.

Duties

• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
• Perform repairs on mechanical systems, including hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Execute welding tasks as required for structural or equipment repairs.
• Interpret schematics and technical drawings to guide maintenance activities.
• Supervise junior maintenance staff and provide leadership during projects.
• Assist with facility maintenance
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with facility occupants.

Experience

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repair.
• Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems and components, including the use of an ohmmeter.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Experience in manufacturing environments is preferred but not mandatory.
