Skills

• Proficient in navigating and interpreting ladder logic in SLC 500, PLC 5, and Control Logix software for troubleshooting equipment faults
• Ability to modify positions and diagnose problems on ABB robots (Models M94, M98, M2000, M2600, and M6700)
• Skilled in both gas and electric welding operations
• Experience diagnosing mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic, and combustion malfunctions
• Capability to determine and implement effective repair procedures

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic and combustion malfunctions
• Determine repair procedures and implement those repairs to prevent recurrence
• Install, move, and align new and existing equipment
• Set up and operate various types of machine shop equipment
• Complete machine repair records and maintain a neat work area
• Perform preventive and proactive maintenance tasks on plant equipment
• Carry out other related duties as assigned by supervision or team leader

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Allen Bradley, Hydraulics, Robotics, and Welding
• Proficient at troubleshooting die casting machine cells through the use of PLCs and electrical and hydraulic schematics

Education Requirements

• Must be able to apply principles acquired through technical or vocational subjects (certificates or some college courses)
