Job Role: Maintenance Technician
Job Purpose
The purpose of the Maintenance Technician position is to uphold OSHA and VOSHA standards, perform routine maintenance, repair machines, install or uninstall equipment, and assist with any needs pertaining to the overall safety and upkeep of the facility. This role will report directly to the Facilities Manager.
Job Responsibilities
The responsibility of the Maintenance includes, but is not limited to the following:
· Perform routine maintenance on production equipment
· Maintain and replenish inventory of replacement parts for repairs
· Assist in evaluating and maintaining safety in the company
· Install or uninstall machines and equipment
· Routinely change out HEPA filters and assess air and humidity in the facility
Physical Requirements
· Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a shift
· Ability to lift, carry, and stack up to 50lbs several times throughout a shift
· Ability to walk, bend, squat, and climb stairs
· Dexterity in joints (shoulders, elbows, wrists, fingers), involving continuous repetitive motion for most workstations
Qualifications
· Must be at least 18 years or older
· Experience as a maintenance technician or mechanic preferred but not required
· Ability to stand for the duration of a shift
· Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift 4:00 pm - 1:00 am
- Day and Evening Shifts available
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- shift differential for evening shift
Experience:
- Maintenance: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
