Maintenance Technician Assistant

Description

The Maintenance Technician Assistant position is a temporary / part time position for the summer months at CAK. This is an entry level position that will allow the future hire to gain hands-on, real-world experience in the facility maintenance area. This position will have different duties over the course of the summer. Employee must be flexible and willing to learn. 

 Duties will include: 

• Painting 
• Cleaning 
• Moving furniture 
• Heavy lifting 
• Using hand tools
• Utilizing power tools in a safe manner 
• Light electrical, plumbing, and HVAC
• Perform routine maintenance
• Perform quality checks prior to start of school
• Maintain inventory records

Requirements

Maintenance Technician Assistant Requirements:

• A follower of Christ, active in his or her church, and able to communicate their Christian story.
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Must be physically capable safely lift approximately 50 lbs. or more at times
• Effective problem-solving abilities along and possess critical thinking skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be well organized and have the ability to prioritize tasks
