Job Description:

We are seeking a Conveyor Belt Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing conveyor belt systems in an industrial environment. Your role is essential in minimizing downtime, maintaining operational efficiency, and ensuring workplace safety. You'll work closely with both maintenance and production teams to ensure equipment runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conveyor Belt Inspection: Perform routine inspections to detect signs of wear, damage, or malfunction.

2. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues impacting system performance.

3. Repair & Maintenance: Repair or replace belts, motors, rollers, pulleys, bearings, and other system components.

4. Preventive Maintenance: Follow a structured maintenance schedule to extend equipment life and reduce downtime.

5. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all company and OSHA safety regulations while working with industrial equipment.

6. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and inventory usage.

7. Collaboration: Work with maintenance crews, production staff, and vendors to coordinate tasks efficiently.

8. Emergency Response: Respond quickly to urgent repair needs to ensure minimal disruption to production.

9. Training and Support: Educate team members on proper operation and maintenance procedures for conveyor systems.

10. Continuous Improvement: Recommend process and system improvements to enhance performance and reduce maintenance costs.
