Maintenance Technician - Crown PIV

Location: 1410 Gordon Food Service Dr, Plant City FL

As a maintenance mechanic with Gordon Food Service, you’ll have the opportunity to be hands-on with our forklifts and Hilo equipment, building schematics/blueprints, electrical troubleshooting, HVAC systems, building maintenance, hi-speed doors, and more. Schedule: Tuesday - Friday, from 7:30 PM until 6:00 AM

Pay: Starting at $28.24 based on experience. (Included a $1.00 Shift Premium)

Knowledge:

• Basic mechanical skills:

  • Component identification

  • Proper, and safe, use of hand tools

  • Ability to perform basic preventative maintenance after being shown once

• Basic electrical skills

  • Component identification

  • Ability to use meter to check continuity

  • Ability to wire 480V 3PH motor using simple wiring diagram

Does this look like you?

• Experience in Crown forklift repair required

• You must be 18 years of age or older 

• High school diploma or GED certificate.

• 1-2 years experience in Industrial equipment made by Crown Lift trucks.  Examples of these types of equipment will be Pallet Jacks, forklifts, cherry pickers, Lift Trucks, etc.)

• Voltage Ammeter & Ohmmeter (VOM) to measure voltage, current, and resistance- Preferred

• Machine repair experience OR an equivalent combination of education and training.

• You'll be asked to do work in high places, freezing cold spaces, inside/outside, and anywhere within the building where you are needed

• Successful passing of drug screen and background check

• Able to lift/move up to 100 lbs during your shift
