Maintenance Technician- Day Shift

General Summary

The Maintenance Technician will require a high level of performance in the following areas: Inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing food processing and packaging equipment used in industrial environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Some of the duties and responsibilities may include:

• Operates with a sense of urgency to learn all plant processing/packaging equipment issues. 
• Performs preventive maintenance, troubleshoots, and repairs electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics on plant processing/packaging equipment. 
• Maintains proper documentation through the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Complies with company safety, quality, standard operating procedures (SOP) and HACCP guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum High School diploma 
• 1 to 3 years industrial maintenance experience
• Demonstrates a high level of precision, accuracy and alertness
• Good decision making skills
• Able to lift 50 lbs intermittently
• Good industrial electrical knowledge. 
• Good knowledge of the proper use of the tools of the trade
