Maintenance Technician (Downtown Oahu) tg

We are looking for a full-time Maintenance Technician position to repair and maintain residential and commercial building in Downtown Oahu. All applicants must successfully pass a background check, essential to possess a valid driver’s license along with a reliable vehicle, previous hands-on maintenance experience, light plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and painting, drywall, and grounds maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs (painting, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), painting, drywall, and grounds maintenance 


• Able to access a small space of 18-inch x 18-inch


• Ensure mechanical equipment and systems are working in order and fixed as necessary.


• Excellent customer service skills to interact with property managers, vendors, customers, etc.


• Involves constant movement, standing, walking, bending, able to stretch during shifts


• Ensure mechanical equipment and systems are working in order and fixed as necessary.


• Able to lift, push, pull a minimum of 50lbs up to 75lbs.


• Walk, stand for a period of time and bend throughout the shift.


• Ensure mechanical equipment and systems are working in order and fixed as necessary


• Create and maintain work orders


• Create and maintain purchase orders


• Perform any additional maintenance related duties as required by HBM supervisor/property management

Skills/Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED


• Must pass background check


• Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle


• Customer service oriented 


• General Maintenance experience


• Basic mathematics


• Previous experience with creating and maintaining work orders and purchase orders


• Attention to detail


• Mechanical aptitude


• Troubleshooting abilities


• Strong organizational skills


• Willingness to learn and grow

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm (40 hours a week) **Must be available to work 3 Saturdays / 3 months of the year ( total of 9 Saturdays annually)**

Compensation: $23.00/per hour
