Client is now hiring a full time Maintenance Technician in our Cleveland, OH location!

Responsibilities
As a maintenance technician, you will maintain all production equipment to reduce downtime and make any necessary repairs to machines, buildings, and premises.

• Repair machinery as needed and troubleshoot for future issues.
• Machine repairs and plant upkeep
• General, preventive, and plant maintenance
• Maintain adequate documentation.
• Review Maintenance. Request On a daily basis, fill out forms to guarantee immediate equipment repairs and complete plant-related repairs as assigned.
• Conduct weekly checks of overall plant conditions.
• Evaluate repairs for their efficacy and correctness.

Qualifications

• Effective written and vocal communication.
• High School Diploma/equivalent or higher
• A trade school degree, diploma, or comparable experience in a similar sector is desired.
• Must have adequate training in electrical and mechanical trades
• Desire to study plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, and welding skills.
• Manufacturing Production experience is a bonus.
• Capable of following instructions from managers, supervisors, or senior maintenance workers, with a positive attitude and strong collaboration skills.
• Capability to utilize hand and power tools.
• Requirements include strong attention to detail and a minimum of one year of forklift experience.
• Knowledge of general carpentry and repair
• Requirements: - Basic computer abilities, including Windows and Microsoft Office - Strong time management and organizational skills - Ability to interpret electrical schematics and troubleshoot high and low voltage applications - Experience with VFDs and PLCs is desired
• Ability to review and follow extremely technical and complicated machinery instructions
• This is a labor occupation that requires lifting up to 70 pounds, stooping, bending, and climbing ladders.

Hours

Our client is open 24 hours. We are hiring for second or third shifts.

• 2:30pm to 11:00pm M-F, on call weekends*
• 11:00pm to 7:30am M-F, on call weekends*
• weekend call-ins are rotational

Salary: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour commensurate with experience
