Maintenance Technician FT

The Granite YMCA is seeking a full-time Facility Maintenance Technician who is knowledgeable & highly motivated. This team member will play a key role in ensuring the safety and physical upkeep of the designated buildings and grounds, while maintaining a clean and neat appearance. Attention to detail, technical know-how, problem solving, and a focus on safety are key for this position.

Position Specifics:

• One full-time position designated to the YMCA of Concord 
• Monday - Friday Day time hours 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Two or more years of experience with attending to general building maintenance projects
• A well-rounded set of skills to include mild to moderate electrical, plumbing, and/or carpentry repair work
• Related certifications and course work preferred
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and other industry safety standards

Responsibilities

• Ensure the buildings and grounds are kept in safe, clean and functioning order through use of technical skills and collaboration with other Facilities/branch staff and outside vendors
• Duties may include light technical work depending upon skill set such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and other areas of work
• Duties may include grounds related work such as mowing, shoveling snow, moving equipment, setting up of outside venues, pest control and more
• Duties may include custodial responsibilities, including cleaning of program areas, locker rooms, bathrooms, and offices
• Be the primary point of contact for resolving minor and day-today facilities-related issues, and seek assistance/elevate large projects as needed
• Effectively maintain knowledge of branch operations to proactively support ongoing events, programs and needs
