Job Title: Maintenance Technician II

Reports To: Property Manager

Property Details: Broadway Lofts is a 107-unit multifamily tax credit and workforce housing development with 1, 2 & 3 bedroom apartments and townhomes (income limits apply), Restricted-access entry, Fitness Center, and Elevator.

Essential Duties:

• Perform general punch requirements
• Grounds and equipment upkeep
• Snow removal
• Basic service requests such as: Replacing lightbulbs/light kits, Unclogging toilets, Garbage disposal installation/repair, Basic water heater repair, Basic cleaning and resident services
• Repairing plumbing, appliance, electrical, and carpentry
• Maintain work order systems, logs, and other records as needed
• Timely reporting of incidents that include property loss or work-related injuries
• On-call duty and weekend work schedules to be expected to emergency maintenance service

Requirements

•  2-years minimum experience in the Maintenance Field
• EPA & HVAC Certifications preferred
• Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and pass a criminal background check
•  Must have strongly developed intuition; must be able to analyze problems and find solutions
• Must be able to work with moderate to minimal direct supervision
• Good human relation skills demonstrating the ability to deal with Residents, Peers, and Supervisors
• Must be comfortable using a computer and Smartphone
