Position Summary:

Repair, troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on HMCs, VMCs and turning centers along with small-size industrial equipment.

Position Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical repair practices
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of machine design and operational principles
• Experience using electrical test equipment and working with electrical and mechanical systems
• Ability to read and interpret parts manuals, electrical and mechanical schematics, assembly instructions, and troubleshooting guides
• Familiarity with operating and setting up CNC equipment
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Position Qualifications:

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of technical school education

Experience: 

3+ years of experience in CNC Machining or Industrial Equipment Repair

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

Activity

Constantly - 6+ hours :  Stand, Walk, Twist/Turn, Stoop/Bend, Squat, Kneel, Reach above shoulder

Frequently - 3 to 6 hrs. :  Drive/Operate PIV

Occasionally - 1 to 3 hrs. :  Lift to 50 lbs.

Intermittent -  <1 hr. :  Crawl
