Maintenance Technician in Edwardsville

Maintenance Technician & Property Management Support (Full-Time)
Location: Edwardsville, KS (2 apartment communities)

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support the daily operations of two multi-family apartment communities in Edwardsville, KS. This is a hands-on role focused on property maintenance with limited operational support.

Responsibilities:

  Perform routine and emergency maintenance

  
  


• 
  

  Respond to resident work orders promptly and professionally

  
  


• 
  

  Prepare vacant units for new residents (unit turns)

  
  


• 
  

  HVAC service and maintenance

  
  


• 
  

  Light plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair

  
  


• 
  

  Painting, drywall, carpentry, and flooring repair

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with vendor coordination as needed

  
  


• 
  

  Conduct property walks and post resident notices

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain accurate records of work performed

  
  

Requirements:

• 
  

  Experience in residential or multi-family maintenance preferred

  
  


• 
  

  Skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and drywall

  
  


• 
  

  Strong customer service and communication skills

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

  
  


• 
  

  Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather

  
  


• 
  

  Basic computer and data entry skills

  
  


• 
  

  Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

  
  


• 
  

  Personal hand tools required

  
  


• 
  

  Functional cell phone with active service

  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

  HVAC or trade certifications

  Construction or renovation experience

  Familiarity with Rent Manager or similar software
