SCHEDULE: Mainly Tuesday - Saturday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm | Requires flexibility to adapt to the schedule needs of the building through different seasons. *On call 24/7*

About the Role

We’re looking for a dependable and service-oriented Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day maintenance operations of a luxury residential facility. Reporting to the Chief Building Engineer, this role plays a key part in keeping common areas and residential units operating smoothly, safely, and efficiently. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on skills who enjoys variety and takes pride in quality work.

What You’ll Do

• Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs in common areas and residential units.
• Handle entry-level tasks including light plumbing, basic electrical work, painting, drywall patching, carpentry, and lock repairs.
• Assist with HVAC-related tasks such as filter replacement and basic inspections.
• Support move-ins and move-outs by preparing common areas and assisting with logistics.
• Escort vendors and contractors, operate freight elevators as needed, and conduct walkthroughs before and after work is completed.
• Assist with general building upkeep, porter duties, and package handling when needed.
• Serve as backup support to the Maintenance Supervisor when required.

What You Need to Succeed

• 3+ years of general maintenance experience or strong mechanical aptitude.
• Willingness to be on-call or respond to after-hours emergencies.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills.
• Reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, resident-focused environment.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in residential facilities is a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of  HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems (BAS) to ensure operational efficiency and safety
• Experience with general repairs and troubleshooting
• Good understanding of safety protocols and regulations
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
