Middle West Spirits is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician Lead to ensure all equipment is operating smoothly through quick, in-depth troubleshooting and repair of all types of bottling, grain handling, and distillation type equipment. Primary job responsibility will be working onsite daily with our bottling technicians, distillery and brewing operators, supervisors, and department managers to resolve mechanical and system issues. Responsibilities to include but not limited to - preventive and predictive maintenance, supporting bottling line tooling changeovers and setup, basic diagnostics and troubleshooting on PLC’s, and facility repairs.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• 5 to 7 years maintenance work experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food or beverage industry.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and resolve issues across multiple departments and levels within the organization.
• Experience in leading and developing others functionality and repair of equipment
• Creating preventative maintenance plans
• Mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Effective communication of issues and solutions to team members and managers
• Willingness to be a technical leader and trainer

Additional Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Lifting requirements: sixty pounds
• Minimal travel between facilities all based within Columbus
• Ability to read and interpret schematics: electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
