Key Responsibilities

• Make apartment units ready for new tenants, which includes drywall repair and painting, general repairs, preventative maintenance, and cleaning.


• Diagnose and perform in unit repairs in areas of HVAC, appliances, plumbing, electrical, hardware and drywall.


• Respond to and complete work orders in a professional and timely manner.


• Perform daily grounds upkeep to maintain the physical appearance of the community and inspect for damage.


• Provide professional, genuine service and maintain positive relationships with residents, guests, vendors, and co-workers.


• Maintain a clean and organized work space, including the maintenance shop and storage areas.


• Perform regular maintenance and make necessary repairs to tools and equipment.


• Participate in the on-call maintenance rotation and respond to maintenance emergencies.


• Perform sidewalk, breezeway and other necessary snow and ice removal.


• Participate in special on-site capital improvement projects.


• Understand and comply with Fair Housing Laws.


• Participate in training programs as required.


• Comply with all applicable health and safety rules and regulations, as well as applicable local, state, and federal laws.
