Maintenance Technician - Prairie Commons Apartments

Description

• Complete basic maintenance tasks in apartments and shared areas (e.g., light plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, etc.)
• Respond to work orders in a timely and professional manner
• Assist with preparing vacant apartments for new residents (painting, repairs, cleaning)
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections
• Help maintain curb appeal by keeping grounds and common areas clean
• Be part of our on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance needs
• Communicate clearly with residents and the office team
• Learn and grow with support from experienced technicians and leaders

• Hands-on experience in general maintenance, construction, repair work, or similar—apartment experience a plus, but not required
• Willingness to learn on the job and take direction
• Able to lift/move heavy objects, climb stairs, and work outdoors as needed
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and good communication skills
• Resides within a 20-minute commute
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
