Job Description - Maintenance Technician - Rincon, GA
Leverage knowledge and ability to operate standard maintenance tools such as power tools, basic hand tools, electric tools, precision maintenance tools and preventative maintenance technology tools Demonstrate experience in maintenance trades and components (ex. Low voltage electrical (480V and less), PLC, welding, pipefitting, fabrication, gearbox and bearing maintenance, lubrication, pumps and piping systems, valves, mechanical maintenance, steam system, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems) Completing preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance throughout the facility, with limited direction in a SAP system. Document completed work and the conditions found utilizing maintenance computer software and interact regularly with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of facility operations Operating forklifts, loaders, scissor lifts, and aerial lifts following standard production documentation to deliver to the correct location Troubleshooting, repairing and installing process equipment including but not limited to motors, pumps, instrumentation loops for pressure/level/temperature/flow, filters, cooling lower, heat exchangers, fans, agitators, vacuum pumps, burners, pressure vessels, storage tanks, relief valves, steam traps, and power distribution network. Understanding and adhering to all safety policies and procedures. Experience in reading blueprints and manuals is required Experience with Control Valves, Industrial Reliability, Welding, Boilers, Wastewater, and Cooling Towers is a plus Language Ability Ability to read, analyze, and interpret statistical data, general business periodicals, professional journals, engineering diagrams, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. A procedure manual. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and employees. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to critically evaluate results, make recommendations and reports on projects. Computer skills are a plus: knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel. Physical Demands Ability to be on your feet upwards of 75-85% of a shift Ability to climb ladders and flights of stairs.
