Maintenance Technician - Self-Storage

Great Atlantic Contracting has been in the maintenance, repair, and construction of self-storage facilities since 1977. Our recent growth has created an opportunity for an additional Maintenance Technician to join our team. We are looking for a long-term employee seeking a good job with a great company that can grow with us.

Essential Duties:

• Build or repair partition walls separating storage units, including both sheetmetal and sheetrock walls.


• Install cabinets, vanities, and countertops.


• Perform unit clean-outs when needed.


• Clean and maintain appearance and landscaping at any location.


• Regularly monitor the maintenance app to prioritize and complete tasks.


• Keep accurate time through the timekeeping app, including notating work locations.


• Other duties, such as plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work may be assigned.
  


• Any other duty assigned for the day.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of proper use of electronic and hand tools.


• Ability to understand and use electronic work order and timekeeping software using personal cell phone.
  


• Must have and maintain professional image.


• Valid drivers’ license.


• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Physical Demands:

• Able to stand, walk, sit, bend, climb, and lift for a combined ten hours daily.


• Able to lift up to 75lbs.


• Manual dexterity.
