Maintenance Technician - Short-Term Contract

Description

Pope Saint John Paul II Preparatory School is currently seeking a skilled maintenance technician for a short-term contract position, starting on Monday, March 17th, 2025 and ending on Friday, June 27th, 2025. This position may have the potential to transition into a full-time opportunity.

Job Details:

Hours: 40 hours per week, with regular hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Compensation: Pay will be commensurate with experience. Overtime hours, if required, will be compensated at time and a half.

Key Responsibilities: The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge and experience in the following areas:

Plumbing

Electrical work

Carpentry

Painting

General handyman skills

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, and work above head for extended periods.

Comfortably lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Additional Requirements:

Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
