Maintenance Technician/Maintenance Manager (CNC)

Responsibilities

Responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance and repair of computer numerical control (CNC) machines in a manufacturing facility. The primary responsibilities of the job include:

Performing regular maintenance on CNC machines: This involves inspecting, cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting machines to ensure they operate efficiently and accurately. Diagnosing and repairing machine problems: The technician is responsible for identifying and troubleshooting issues with CNC machines, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and software-related problems. Conducting preventive maintenance: The technician should schedule and perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent machine downtime and minimize repair costs. Keeping records of machine maintenance: This includes documenting maintenance schedules, repairs, and parts used to maintain an accurate maintenance history. Ordering and stocking machine parts: The technician should ensure that necessary parts are ordered and stocked to minimize machine downtime. Collaborating with machine operators and other CNC setup personnel: The technician should work with other CNC Setup personnel to troubleshoot and solve machine issues and communicate with machine operators to identify potential problems. Troubleshooting and Upkeep of forklift and overhead crane. Adhering to safety standards: The technician should follow established safety procedures, LOTO and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.

The essential functions of this role include:

standing for 8 hours at one time
