Maintenance-Skilled - First Shift - Monday + Fridays

Description

We are seeking dedicated Maintenance personnel to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our main plant buildings, mechanical equipment, and utility systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures. 

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Perform routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures in main plant buildings, mechanical equipment, and utility systems.

- Receive facilities requests for building internal and external maintenance.

- Monitor the boiler room to ensure proper functioning.

- Work collaboratively as part of a team to accomplish repair and cleaning tasks efficiently.

**Skills and Qualifications:**

- Proven experience in maintenance and repair work.

- Strong knowledge of building systems and equipment.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Excellent problem-solving skills.

- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.

Requirements

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Read and comprehend work instructions, must be able to write clearly and have a complete understanding of all routings and defined tasks by shop router operation

Physical Demands

• Person will regularly be required to use hands & arms with repetitive motion & reach
• Will move/roll use force up to 75 pounds
• Be able to use step ladders, be able to access high elevation of building safely (ex. roof repairs), ventilation
• Manual dexterity for handling production material
• Standing and walking consistently during an 8-hour or 10-hour shift in various temperatures. Subjected to excessive heat in plant (up to 100 degrees) particularly in high heat index temperatures
• Employee will regularly be exposed to fumes or airborne particles
