Job Description - Major Accounts Contracts Administrator- Grand Rapids MI

About Applied Innovation

Applied Innovation, a leading provider of office technology solutions, is dedicated to delivering bestinclass service and support to our clients. We are seeking a highly energetic, dependable, and detailoriented individual to join our Major Accounts Contracts team. This fulltime onsite role is based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with standard hours of 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.


Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Creation & Billing
    • Generate new service and equipment contracts.
    • Prepare and issue accurate billing documentation.
  • Database Management
    • Manage account changes and updates to ensure accurate records
    • Extend, modify, or cancel existing contracts as needed.
    • Input and correct meter reads; troubleshoot and resolve meter‑entry errors.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration
    • Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with both major account representatives and client contacts
    • Proactively monitor account activity and identify trends, anomalies, or opportunities for improvement
    • Work collaboratively with internal teams to support smooth refreshes and ongoing account maintenance
  • Reporting & Analysis
    • Develop and maintain spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel to track contract metrics and status.
    • Generate ad‑hoc reports to support management decisions.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Client‑focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with computers and common software applications (including Microsoft Excel)
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
  • Confidence in presenting observations and suggestions to sales reps.
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and problem-solving
