Making Waves Scholarship 2026

Making Waves Education Foundation’s college and career success program provides need-based scholarships and pairs students with a support system of Making Waves’ college coaches, financial coordinators, and career specialists.

Partnering with students from low-income backgrounds, people of color, and first-generation college students, Making Waves aims to help students graduate from college with minimal to no debt and setup for their first job.

• College coaching: Our college coaches provide guidance for exploring what makes you ‘you’ and for growing your strengths. From choosing a major and mapping a path to timely graduation to setting goals and building relationships–our coaches are here to support you on your entire educational journey.
• Scholarships and financial support: Our college financial coordinators help keep your Making Waves scholarship, FAFSA and financial aid forms, and college budgeting on track, so you focus on your studies and graduate from college with minimal to no debt.
• Career and job skills: Our career specialists support college students and recent college graduates on all things career–whether it’s exploring your career options, making a post-grad career plan, finding internships and jobs, improving your resume, growing your interview skills, and more.

All Making Waves Academy students with a minimum 2.0 GPA – including undocumented students – who are interested in attending a four-year college or community college after high school can apply to join the program during their senior year of high school.
