Description for Male Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to work 12 hour shifts in Powhatan.  Day times hours 8am – 8pm, have a couple shifts for nights.

• Providing assistance and hygiene care as directed, including but not limited our Caregivers to: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities and assisting with measurements, if necessary


• Providing assistance with daily tasks, including but not limited to: feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping.


• Assisting client with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care, and documenting observed changes to the Director of Nursing 

Requirements Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

• High school diploma or GED


• Successful completion of a CNA license.


• Minimum of one (1) year of CNA experience.


• Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray


• Licensed driver with an insured automobile

• Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Heavy lifting and able to make transferring.


• Every other weekends

Pay Rates:          $17 - $19 including our mileage reimbursement program.

Weekly schedule:

• Monday to Friday (12 hour shifts)


• Rotating weekends

Work setting:

• In home services

Experience:

• C.N.A.: 1 year (Preferred)
