Male Home Health Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Male Home Health Worker to provide in-home care and support to clients in Bloomfield Hills, MI. This  role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety, and promoting their independence in a respectful and professional manner. This position is 7 days a week, morning shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.


• Help with mobility and transferring clients safely.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.


• Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.


• Monitor clients' health status and report any changes or concerns to supervisors.


• Perform light household tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment.


• Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation of services provided.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate empathy.


• Reliable and trustworthy with a strong sense of responsibility.


• Able to work independently without an issue.


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.


• Ability to pass background checks.
