\n \n Occupational Health\n\n MA/LPN Front Office Coordinator\n\n Monroe, Ohio \n \n\n \n \n\nGeneral Summary/Responsibilities:\n\nThe Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works under the direct supervision of the physician and/or provider to perform administrative and clinical tasks. LPN\u2019s support doctors and patients related to patient care management, organization and communication. The goal is to ensure efficient operation of the medical office through accurate delivery of high-quality customer service. They remain flexible and proficient in all aspects of the clinic operation to assist in order entry, registration, scheduling, reporting, phone calls, clerical tasks, clinical tasks, and other related duties. Must demonstrate good teamwork and maintain a professional attitude. \n \n\nFIDRNOCT\n\nQualifications\n\nEducation\n\nMinimum Level of Education Required: High School completion / GED \n \nAdditional requirements: \n\uf0a7 Type of degree: completion of diploma program \n \n\nLicensure/Certification/Registration\n\n\uf0a7 Successful completion of certificate or diploma from accredited school maintains current certification \n\uf0a7 CPR Certification \n\uf0a7 Successful passage of the National Council Licensure Exam for Practical Nurses\n\nExperience\n\nMinimum Level of Experience Required: No prior job-related work experience \nPreferred experience: Experience in ambulatory health care or related health care field preferred. \n \n\nKnowledge/Skills\n\n\uf0a7 Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations \n\uf0a7 Knowledge of medical terminology and processes \n\uf0a7 Basic administrative skills including typing, filing, and the use of miscellaneous office equipment. \n\uf0a7 Literate in personal computers (including keyboards) required. \n\uf0a7 Ability to perform multiple tasks at the same time. \n\uf0a7 Ability to work under sometime-stressful condition which may occur in a heavy workload environment. \n\uf0a7 Excellent organizational and time management skills \n\uf0a7 Effective oral and written interpersonal/communication skills for interaction with and/or teaching patients, physicians, other staff and visitors. \n\uf0a7 Good problem solving skills, initiative and judgment to make appropriate decision in potentially life threatening patient situations. \n\uf0a7 Professional appearance and behavior. \n\uf0a7 Physical strength for such activities as moving equipment, (lifting/transporting patients with assistance) to a maximum of 300 lbs. \n\uf0a7 Excellent customer service skills\n\n \n
