MA/LPN | Internal Medicine | up to $5,000 sign-on bonus

We are looking for an Medical Assistant or LPN to join our fast-pace team at Internal Medicine! In this position, you will have the opportunity to learn how to do the clinical and clerical pieces of patient care to better support the patient’s experience. The Internal Medicine Practice is located on our main campus. In this role you will: 

• Room patients, perform vitals, obtain and update medical history and chief compliant


• Assist with minor in office procedures and surgery scheduling


• Respond to patient messages, contact patients regarding test results and enter patient recalls


• Manage medication refills and medication prior authorization


• Assist with completion of Short Term Disability and/or FMLA forms


• Educate patients about medication, special diets and preparation for testing

The current schedule for this position is:

• Monday- 8:00am-5:00pm


• Tuesday- 8:00am-5:00pm


• Wednesday- 8:00am-4:30pm


• Thursday- 8:00am-5:00pm


• Friday- 8:00am-3:00pm

What You'll Bring/Requirements:

• Active LPN License and degree from an accredited school 


• Completion of high school degree or equivalent 


• 2 years experience in a medical office setting 


• Knowledge of medical terminology 


• Personal computer, data entry, and communication skills


• Acquire American Heart Association BLS within 60 days of hire
