For positions that have only a rate listed, the displayed rate is the hiring rate but could be subject to change based on shift differential, experience, education or other relevant factors.

Perform all general, special mammographic procedures as well as DEXA (bone density) examinations. Performs all MQSA and ACR required duties as directed by Imaging Director/Manager.  Performs all general Radiologic examinations as required by departmental needs.  When needed, he/she is required to provide coverage for both Newburgh and/or Cornwall campuses of SLCH.  Must be responsible for periodic On-Call duties and be available to respond within the timeframe outlined in the Radiology Policy and Procedure Guideline.

Education/Training:  Technologist must be able to read, write and communicate in English.               Satisfactory completion of an AMA approved school for Diagnostic Radiology Technology or equivalent program.

Experience:  One-year experience required as a Rad Tech. A working understanding and knowledge of equipment and physics of mammography.

Licensure, Registration or Certification:

Must be licensed by New York State.

Must be ARRT registered in Mammo

Ability to read, write and communicate in English (as well as other education/training Qualifications).
