Position Overview

As a Mammography Technologist, you will perform both screening and diagnostic mammograms, as well as stereotactic breast biopsies, ensuring high-quality images while maintaining patient comfort and safety. Your role is critical to the accurate diagnosis and care of our patients and to the smooth operation of the imaging center.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality mammograms and stereotactic breast biopsies (70%)
  
• Conduct quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) procedures on imaging equipment (10%)
  
• Document patient history and exam details in the RIS system (10%)
  
• Collaborate with the team to proactively address workflow and scheduling challenges (10%)
  

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Mammography
  
• Active Florida State License
  
• MQSA compliant for both Digital and 3D Mammography
  
• BLS certification
  
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Mammography
  
• Experience performing stereotactic breast biopsies preferred

Requirements

• ARRT certification in Mammography  
• Active Florida State License  
• MQSA compliant for both Digital and 3D Mammography  
• BLS certification
