Position Overview: As a PRN Mammography Technologist, you’ll perform both screening and diagnostic mammograms, ensuring high-quality images while prioritizing patient safety. You will follow physician protocols, properly position patients, and operate breast imaging equipment with expertise. Your role is vital in delivering exceptional care and maintaining the smooth operation of our imaging center.

Essential Job Functions:

• Perform high-quality mammograms efficiently and with excellent patient care – 70%.
  
• Ensure quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) of equipment – 10%.
  
• Complete patient history and enter exam data into the RIS system accurately – 10%.
  
• Proactively address scheduling or workflow issues as they arise – 10%.
  

Qualifications:

• ARRT registered in Mammography.
  
• Florida State License.
  
• MQSA compliant for Digital and 3D Mammography.
  
• BLS Certification.
  
• Minimum of 2 years of mammography experience.
  

Skills & Abilities:

• Energetic, with a positive attitude and strong patient care focus.
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy and patient safety.
  
• Comfortable standing for long periods and positioning patients, including those with mobility challenges.
