Key Responsibilities

• Perform mammograms: Operate mammography equipment to capture high-quality X-ray images of breast tissue.
• Prepare and position patients: Properly position patients and compress the breast to obtain clear images while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety: Explain procedures, answer questions, and support patients who may feel anxious or uncomfortable.
• Maintain imaging equipment: Check and calibrate machines to ensure accurate imaging and safety standards.
• Review image quality: Ensure images are clear and complete before sending them to a radiologist for interpretation.
• Maintain patient records: Document imaging procedures and ensure accurate medical records.
