Job Description:
Join our prestigious hospital in Cincinnati, OH as a Mammography Technologist. In this role, you will operate mammography and ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality breast images. Additionally, you will assist Radiologists with breast cyst aspirations, needle localizations, and other specialized procedures as required.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform mammography according to Breast Center standards, ensuring high-quality images.
Adhere to radiation safety protocols.
Maintain cleanliness of equipment and examination rooms.
Accurately input patient information into ID flasher systems.
Document pertinent patient information on history sheets.
Conduct quality control procedures and track exams in Radiology Information Systems.
Ensure patient comfort and provide clear explanations of procedures.
Handle patient inquiries and complaints professionally and empathetically.
Assist Radiologists during procedures and core needle biopsies.
Complete all necessary paperwork and maintain patient privacy.
Requirements:
ARRT(R) and ARRT(M) certification.
Certified Mammographer with Ohio licensure.
BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
Minimum 1 year of experience in mammography.
Proficiency in operating mammography and ultrasound equipment.
Knowledge of sterile technique and quality control procedures.
Completion of 15 C.E. hours in Mammography.
