Position Summary:

Responsible for mammography examinations; providing compassionate patient care in a high volume, fast paced environment to patients of all ages; contributing to the efficient operation of the department, as well as ensuring quality and continuity of patient care.

Essential Functions:

Professional, positive and caring attitude throughout entire patient encounter.
Work with and assist a wide range of individuals in a variety of situations.
Listening to and resolving patient questions, comments and concerns.
Perform requested exams according to the American College of Radiology (ACR) standards in an accurate, efficient and timely manner; as outlined in Mammography Department Policy & Procedural Manual
Demonstrate competency and proficiency in:

Patient Positioning
Technique selection
Critique films before being sent to Radiologist

Communication Ability to communicate effectively with patients and their family members, team members, supervisors, managers and Radiologists.
Qualifications:

2 year or more years of Mammography experience
Current ARRT Mammography Certification or will obtain within 1 year of employment
Pay Range $28-$32 based on experience

We currently have needs for per diem techs who would be willing to float either to our northtowns centers or our southtowns centers.
