Job Summary
Responsible for extracting knowledge and insights from data in order to investigate business/operational problems through a range of data preparation, modeling, analysis, and/or visualization techniques.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree in analysis or related field required. Equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
Experience
2+ years of experience required working with data, preferably healthcare data on the provider/payer side
Experience in financial analysis preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Healthcare knowledge, particularly as it pertains to electronic medical record data, is preferred but not required.
Working knowledge of relational databases, SQL, data visualization, and Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau.
Knowledge and application of statistical analyses, including variance analysis and statistical significance, are preferred.
Project management skills and/or experience are a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Working Schedule:
Full time remote hours, optional onsite at Assembly Row in Somerville, MA
Remote hours require a quiet, secure, HIPAA-compliant working station
