Description

Medix Infusion is seeking a collaborative and strategic Managed Care Manager to lead payer relations and credentialing operations across our growing organization. In this key role, you’ll support patient access to high-quality care by managing credentialing, payer contract execution, reimbursement optimization, and regulatory readiness. As a subject matter expert in managed care, you will collaborate across our Intake, Scheduling, Pharmacy, and Clinical teams to ensure seamless coordination with Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and ACO/PHO partners.

Medix Infusion is a technology-driven healthcare platform enhancing patient care and access to infusion therapies, specializing in disease management and infusion pharmacy services for chronic and acutely ill patients, especially in underserved communities. We offer personalized home and in-suite infusion therapies, ensuring convenience and comfort. Our expert team provides a comprehensive range of treatments, including anti-infectives, biologics, IVIG, and other injectables, making each patient’s journey as smooth as possible

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external payer partners
  • Manage all aspects of credentialing, recredentialing, and enrollment for healthcare providers
  • Build and maintain payer relationships with Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and ACO/PHO plans
  • Lead the implementation and optimization of managed care contracts
  • Facilitate Joint Operations Committees and other payer-based performance forums
  • Develop and deliver cross-functional training, resource materials, and process documentation
  • Monitor reimbursement trends and regulatory policy changes across assigned markets
  • Support billing, claims resolution, and revenue cycle efforts through expert-level managed care navigation
  • Oversee readiness programs to ensure patient access during new site launches and provider onboarding

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent work experience)
  • 10+ years of experience in managed care, payer relations, credentialing, reimbursement, or healthcare operations
  • 5+ years of experience with commercial payers, payer contracting, or provider enrollment
  • Strong understanding of Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement methodologies
  • Proven success building and managing payer relationships at the regional or national level
  • Experience interpreting and operationalizing federal and state healthcare regulations
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Comfortable managing vendor relationships and coordinating multi-department initiatives
  • Candidates will be required to complete a Predictive Index Assessment as part of the recruitment process.

Talking and hearing are essential to communicate with patients, vendors, and staff.
