Job Description - Management Operations Support Specialist

Job Summary

Provides essential operations support for the Narrowband SATCOM Program Office, part of the United States Space Force and Space Systems Command (SSC). As a Management Operations Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing administrative functions, personnel processing, logistics coordination, and providing operational support to ensure the seamless execution of key activities.

Travel is not required.

Responsibilities and Duties

Manages the scheduling for the Director and Deputy Director. Drafts, reviews, and sends communications on behalf of Program Office leadership. Organizes and prepares for VIP visits and meetings, including gathering necessary documents and handling logistics. Answers phone calls, relays messages, and provides information to the appropriate personnel. Prioritizes and responds to emails in a timely manner. Coordinates travel arrangements for Director and Deputy. Tracks submissions and maintains Conference Room requests and Facilities Requests. Serves as the Primary Records Custodian, maintaining records and documents for the Program Office, and assist with annual audits. Inputs time for government civilians using the Automated Time Attendance and Production System (ATAAPS), as needed. Assists with personnel in-processing and out-processing, and manage the creation and tracking of network accounts. Oversees Program Common Access Cards (CACs) for office spaces. Primary Point of Contact for all Livelink issues: Account creation, folder creation, permissions and access.

Qualifications and Skills

Required knowledge and years of experience

Must have at least three (3) years of experience. Must have at least seven (7) years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree. Must have experience is customer service, Microsoft Office suite, Defense Travel System (DTS), office administration, and task management.
