This is more than a job — it’s a path to future store and company leadership roles. After demonstrating success, you may be eligible for promotion to management positions. Note: This position involves travel through Maryland and Northern Virginia and rotational assignments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES As part of your training, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that will help you build a solid foundation in store operations. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Learn and participate in all aspects of store operations roles and responsibilities
Delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to a positive store culture
Assisting customers, identifying needs, and recommending solutions
Processing sales transactions and handling payments
Tinting and matching paint accurately for customer orders
Participating in inventory management and merchandising
Receiving and stocking inventory
Supporting store administration and paperwork
Learning and applying personnel management best practices
Gaining exposure to purchasing, operations, and P&L management
Building cross-functional relationships across departments
Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability as duties evolve
QUALIFICATIONS The ideal candidate is ambitious, creative, personable, resourceful and hard-working — a leader adept at decision-making, problem-solving and multi-tasking. Preferred Background:
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree
1+ years of experience in retail or customer service
Familiarity with paint or similar industry a plus
Spanish-English bilingual strongly preferred
Willingness to relocate for future promotional opportunities

Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and distinguish colors accurately
Must be able to operate a computer and communicate by phone
Must pass a background check
