  • Establish robust controls and governance to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational predictability.
  • Lead root cause investigations for billing incidents and drive permanent corrective actions.
  • Implement proactive monitoring and validation frameworks to prevent billing issues before invoice generation.
  • Act as escalation point for high-impact billing issues impacting customers or partners.

What you bring to the role:

  • 7+ years in billing operations, cloud finance operations, or usage-based billing environments.
  • Strong understanding of AWS billing constructs, including Cost & Usage Reports (CUR), pricing models, credits, and discount structures.
  • Proven experience leading operational teams in fast-paced technology or platform environments.
  • Demonstrated success driving automation and improving operational efficiency.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable business insights.
  • Comfortable partnering cross-functionally across Product, Engineering, Finance, and Operations.

Preferred:

  • Experience working within marketplace, platform, or ecosystem-based business models.
  • Exposure to large-scale global billing environments.
  • Familiarity with BI tools, SQL, or data visualization platforms.
