This is an onsite position and offers a 9/80 schedule.\n\nWhat You\u2019ll Get to Do:\n\nThe Business Management Manager 1 will lead a team of Program Control Analysts supporting Development programs within the 5th Gen Modernization Portfolio and will report to the Portfolio Business Manager within the Fighter Network Systems (FNS) Operating Unit (OU). The FNS OU specializes in the development, production, and sustainment of the Communication, Navigation, and Identification (CNI) system for the F-35 and F-22 aircraft.\n\nBusiness Management Manager 1 roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:\n\n * Program resource management, including cost estimation, allocation, tracking, and analysis\n\n * Preparation and presentation of financial data to internal and external customers, including variance analysis and forecast\n\n * Compliance and financial reporting in support of Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and monthly Indicated Finals (IF)\n\n * EVMS oversight with COBRA reporting to satisfy internal/external Level 1 deliverables.\n\n * Comprehensive Estimate-at-Complete (CEAC) preparation and review\n\n * Assistance with contract negotiations\n\n * Support of pricing and proposal activities\n\n * Review of contractual documents, including Technical Task Orders\n\n * Subcontractor invoicing and funding\n\n * On-going collaboration with the customer and functional teams\n\n * Management and development of Program Control Analyst (PCA) staff\n\n * NCTA Management and Reporting\n\n * Budget/Cost Center Management and Reporting\n\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\nTo be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:\n\n * Bachelor\u0027s degree with 5 years of professional industry related experience - OR \u2013 a Master\u2019s degree with 3 years of professional industry related experience.\n\n * Will consider 9 years of applied experience in lieu of degree requirement\n\n * Prior experience in finance, accounting and/or program control\n\n * Understanding of DOD contracts, government Cost Accounting Standards, and the FAR\n\n * Experience with Earned Value and performance measurement baseline concepts and ability to apply them to multiple contracts, CLINs and control accounts.\n\n * Prior experience in a Program Control Environment - setting up cost control system, and monitoring costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system\n\n * Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, SAP, and Business Warehouse (BW)\n\n * Prior experience preparing and presenting financial analysis to team and/or management.\n\n * The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance is required.\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nCandidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline\n\n * MBA or CPA certification\n\n * Previous experience managing/supervising program, project, or personnel. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.\n\nThe application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
