Business Development

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by delivering high-quality work and demonstrating expertise in GIS and utility operations.

  • Support senior leaders in expanding relationships with industry GIS solution providers and consulting partners to enhance collaboration and service offerings.

Practice Development

  • Contribute to the growth of West Monroe's Energy & Utilities Practice by supporting internal initiatives, knowledge sharing, and team development.

  • Participate in thought leadership activities, such as contributing to white papers, internal knowledge repositories, or conference presentations, to enhance the practice’s reputation in GIS/geospatial enablement.

  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive culture within the team and across the firm.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Science, Geography, Environmental Science, Power Systems, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in electric/utilities consulting, with a focus on GIS migration and/or implementation (preferably Esri, Schneider Electric, and/or General Electric).

  • At least 5 years of consulting experience in professional services.

  • Working knowledge of GIS, GWD, EAM, APM, WAM, mobility solutions, utility functions, and/or regulatory impacts at Federal and State levels.

  • Experience supporting consulting engagements (e.g., project/program management, system integration, business implementation, change management, business process redesign/optimization).

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in team environments.

  • Willingness and ability to travel (up to 75% annually as necessary).
