Objectives

This role will be responsible for the coordination and execution of Neurocience International congresses (oUS) and BOTOX training events led by the International Marketing & Commercial Operations (IMCO) team. The role requires collaboration with the cross-functional team to implement innovative and immersive learning opportunities & events. The role is pivotal in ensuring that all events are professionally conducted and efficiently run, enhancing the attendee experience, trainer engagement and AbbVie value proposition. The role is expected to adhere to all compliance and regulatory requirements and manage expenses within the allocated budget.

The role will report to the IMCO Atogepant and Ubrogepant Brand Lead and be based at the US, Lake County office.

Key responsibilities

Congresses & Training Events
• Ensure all events are in line with International Atogepant, BOTOX and Ubrogepant strategies (oUS) and integrated with wider event activities and communications planned by International Brand Teams within Neuroscience.
• Partner with IMCO External Engagement Leads & Indication Leads to define congress and event strategies along with supporting development and coordination of the events calendar
• Lead the overall coordination for IMCO and project management for internal stakeholders and external parties/vendors utilized to support logistics, including but not limited to:

o Initiate request for support from internal AbbVie Support Teams including BSG and/or CCG and monitor performance against plan. Establish and manage regularly scheduled planning meetings.

o Maintain project timelines and follow up on status and action items. Document and follow up on project plan activities, milestones, and action items to ensure effective and timely completion

o Proactively communicate across team members (including business owner and BSG colleagues) to support successful execution and keep stakeholders well-informed.

o Manage, track, and adjust budgets as required with necessary approvals

o Lead the onsite logistics of congresses & other applicable events

o Liaise with CCG and HCPs on contracts and engagements as applicable

o Ensure vendors meet all internal policies and external regulations.
• Support IMCO External Engagement Leads & Brand Leads with providing internal & external stakeholders with event status updates, including tracking and communicating Congress and Event KPIs
• Partner with International brand teams to deliver BOTOX training experiences/events and materials that elevate the experience & embedding of the skills.
• Accountability for event excellence and outcomes, including all aspects such as delegate feedback, venue quality etc
• Liaise with various markets as required based on host country involvement for events
• Conduct post meeting debrief. Document and share lessons learned to inform future planning activities.
• Ensure all congress and training events adhere to AbbVie compliance policies & SOPs as well as industry standards, e.g. ABPI Code

• Strong Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of regulatory statutes across relevant markets
• Availability for frequent travel internationally

Qualifications

Qualifications:
• 5-7 years of experience for an AD equivalent
• Demonstrated success in an event coordinator's role in the pharmaceutical industry
• Project management certification (e.g. PMP) or relevant experience
• Event Management Certificate or Diploma is desirable
• Experience within the pharmaceutical industry is desirable
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook as well as managing budgets

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.
