This position is located in Minot, ND.\n\nThis role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.\n\nWhat You\u2019ll Get To Do:\n\nThe Manager, Field Engineering Services 2, also serving as the Deployment Field Officer (DFO) and Site Manager at each Minuteman III Wing location, is responsible for the oversight and leadership of field engineers and technicians, ensuring compliance with government and contractual requirements on the Missile Field Battlespace Awareness Remote Visual Assessment Contractor Logistics Program. This role works closely with Network Operation Center/ Security Operation Center management, program management, and U.S. Government counterparts to ensure key performance parameters and mission requirements are met. The ideal candidate will provide strong leadership, driving day-to-day and surge operations for a small team, and will act as the site lead responsible for maintaining a secure facility for all spare items, components, parts, materials, and equipment used to sustain the system. Primary responsibilities include managing and scheduling maintenance activities throughout the period of performance, coordinating all operations with key stakeholders, and interfacing with multiple agencies from various specialties. The Manager, Field Engineering Services 2 provides technical guidance, training, and oversight of personnel, ensures configuration management compliance and program documentation, manages resources (facilities, vehicles, equipment, training, certifications, calibrations), and enforces safety and security policies. Additional duties include attending program-level reviews, providing train-the-trainer and user-level training, serving as the local MA delegate, supporting the Logistics team as a backup, and augmenting maintenance teams as required. Occasional travel will be required.\n\nThis role is contingent upon contract award. An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.\n\n * Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need\n\n * Proven demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment\n\n * 4 years of experience in delivering formal briefings/presentations to senior leadership and being primary focal point to end user\n\n * 4 years of experience in technical problem solving, to include participating in root cause analysis, solution development, implementation, and monitoring\n\n * 2 years of experience with the operation, integration, configuration, and maintenance of military security systems, networks, radios and datalinks.\n\n * 4 years of experience in MS Office (Word, Excel \u0026 PowerPoint)\n\n\n\n\nThese Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:\n\n * Experience Managing People\n\n * Leadership or supervisory experience in a government maintenance or operations/assembly environment\n\n * Experience training end users with security system hardware\n\n * Demonstrated history leading and management of multi-functional teams\n\n * Familiarity with network/electronic work instructions, safety policies and quality procedures\n\n * Proven experience planning and executing preventative and corrective maintenance availability activities\n\n * Must have excellent communication skills\n\n * Background and understanding in various tools and techniques associated with cost / schedule management (especially Earned Value Management).\n\n * Experience in all stages of the engineering process from proposal and requirements analysis to verification testing and troubleshooting.\n\n * Minuteman III ICBM experience\n\n\n\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $121,000.00 - $181,600.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
