This position is eligible for teleworking, which is currently one day per week. New hires are eligible to apply 30 days after their effective hire date.

Position Objective:
This position is responsible for ensuring that accurate financial records are maintained in the MTA HQ General Ledger and providing the Controller’s Office with quality data for decision-making. The incumbent will be responsible for performing monthly general ledger accounting and preparing account reconciliations and account analysis. In addition, this position is responsible for supporting the preparation of the monthly financial statements, the quarterly and year-end consolidated financial statements with footnotes, and the compilation of all agency-specific accounting reports.
