We are an international company that is part of the Vishay Precision Group, and our business area is BLH Nobel. We develop and sell equipment for weighing and force measurement. These systems are mainly sold to the process industry, the automotive industry, the offshore industry, and the steel and paper industries. We have been active in these areas for a long time and are well established in the market.
We are looking for someone to become our new Finance Manager, based in Karlskoga. You will be the local head of our finance department and have personnel responsibility. The role includes accounting, analysis, reporting, budgeting, annual reports, and forecasting. You will be responsible for ensuring that the company complies with laws, regulations, and internal guidelines, and you will be our contact person for banks and auditors. You will also support the group with documentation in accordance with SOX policies and procedures. You will be a member of the company's management team and play an active role in the company's strategy and future development.
Purpose
Maintenance of accounting records of Vishay Nobel AB and associated administration and compliance functions making financial statistics, liaison with auditors and other advisors.
Reporting financial, budget, tax and other financial data to VPG Corporate databases.
Reporting product level performance data to VPG divisional management.
Supervising and reviewing accounting data prepared by other members of Nobel AB staff, enduring adherence to VPG reporting timetables.
Assisting managers of Vishay Nobel AB in general matters (in conjunction with others), including maintenance of ERP systems, application of office policies.
Assisting VPG Corporate in the documentation of and adherence to SOX policies and procedures.

Main responsibilities
Month and year end reporting, accounting ledger closing, daily tasks and supervision, liaison with external advisors, participating in general management of the company.
Divisional product level reporting.
SOX compliance and reporting/testing.
Tax data submission, statutory accounts, annual report etc.
We are looking for someone with a university degree in economics and experience in similar leadership roles.
You should have solid experience in accounting, annual accounts, budgeting, and reporting.
Good knowledge of Swedish ist a MUST, English, Excel, and solid experience of working in business systems is a requirement.
As a person, you are stable, meticulous, structured, and business-minded. You should have good social skills and a high work capacity.
Monthly salary, otherwise the terms and conditions of the Unionen/Sveriges Ingenjörer/Ledarna engineering agreements apply.
The position is a permanent position and selection is ongoing. Start date according to agreement.
